Is it because of the daily chart positive divergence? :)

I guess you can short EUO.

The spreadsheet pulls in live data every 60 seconds. I only pull in a handful of tickers and some other data (sentiment and SPY volume). Most of what you see in those columns is just data manipulation using excel functions. Some of my "if" statements are massive. Many columns are hidden simply because they serve no purpose outside the if statements.

I tweet my signals around 3:45-3:55. :)

stlwater wrote:How is that data populated into your spreadsheet? Is it done in RT? or do you do it manually? If manually, where do you obtain the data feed?

Did someone say "dashboards"?
Wow, that's insane.

Mine is a bit different than most. I only trade at 3:58pm, based on what my "dashboard" is telling me. Column X is my signal, Column Y is what I trade (TNA).

Last trading day and most people are getting ready for New Year's Eve. Not many people in the market.

So I’ll comment for you:
Flag up to resistance MA doesn’t necessarily mean that a bottom is in, scalp the flag, wait for “proof” of bottom (if you happen to be a trend follower).
Now you have to refute my comment please

Yea, I remember you…. You’re the one that shouted out volume bull squeeze last Friday (?) into the close, while I was dickin around naval gazing…

Current time cycles are pressuring a movement lower with the Hurst
cycle due next week, the 10 TD low on 10th Jan, full moon on 9th Jan and
major cycle low on 17th Jan, coinciding with the 55 TD from 28th Oct
peak. Plus, the daily indicators are overbought and looks to cross down
anytime. They are nowhere near a bottom yet.

Stay short till 17th Jan.

I can see a low around Jan 10th, but think we could get a high around Jan 17-20th rather than a low, just my opinion...
Hi, we have europe meeting on 9th Jan, so 10th Jan low could coincide nicely. Another bounce into 12th and final low the 3rd week, but you may be right, because price cycle inverts time to time..
Sorry, my msg got lost inside prev post...

Will add your page to my reading. Looked at your explanation re: vix and sp going in same direction usu indicates a trend change... very nice....
Thank you :) and I wish you and everyone onboard a great 2012, the year of water dragon. Hopefully a year of abundance and optimism. Cheers.

ha, I have the exact same trendline on my screen. watching that damn trendline like a hawk. if that breaks, s&p will go beserk and that will confirms the positive D on the daily chart.

still not bad. the pullback is 2 legged already, but not much damage done, so I think bulls are ok, well, for now of course.

JT, does your spreadsheet dynamically update? I'm interested in just being able to import data from yahoo.
Yes, I get most of my data from cnn money, believe it or not. It's all "real time". The only indicator that is delayed 15 minutes is the VIX. I use my brokers real time streaming to keep an eye on that, however.

Here is what you can use in your excel (i prefer open office, but same idea)...

As an example, plug this into your "links" section in excel...
http://money.cnn.com/quote/quote.html?s ... PY,vix,tna

Then you'll need to select HTML tables to get the data you desire into a particular cell. That part is just trial and error. Give it a try. If you have any questions give me a shout.
