This is nothing! Just the usual hysterical gyrations...Wait for the ER...and then we shall see the real thing!

Last earnings announcement stock sold off, I don't think anyone expected it. This time I have been reading a lot of analysts trying to pump up the hype before earnings, we will see what happens...

I take it that you think it could break in either direction?( Your Targets) Will that play into tomorrow?
I meant that breakout not confirmed. and now you know indeed it's not the breakout.

Close here will provide hollow red candle on daily for: SPY, XKL, XLF, XLE, QQQ, GLD, EEM
$DAX closed with hollow red candle as well.

Outperformers are IWM and IYR.

Tomorrow will be interesting :?

Cobra any thoughts on a lower high and lower low or view as consolidation. I still think we chop to 1300 before breaking higher.
pattern too small, even this is the top, the pullback won't be large.
would that go both ways that patterns says small pullback or small breakout?

Trading volume looks absolutely anemic.

HUGH HFT/Algo/Speech hit at 15:41. The pity is that this is what the mkt is now for those not looking at this. The EW pattern is non-existent and that was never the case. It's a random walk for the public where they dictate the course. It's why they open a good down close up 200 higher by buying through the night to stop selling the next day, but at the same time that get no one to play those days. I think I'm starting my 4th month today of watching this and I can't say it's been pleasant to watch the mkt like this for day trading, but it has been educational as to all players partaking in Gresham's Law with every order....skimming is the rule.

The little drop here at the end had no activity at all. Nice round egg sitting atop here. Refer to my post late at night yesterday for illustration:

Do you mind telling me if there is a site where I could see this phenomena? It's really crazy...

AAPL usually does not release the numbers before 16:15 EST - so that you cannot play QQQ options in function of its ER.
