This chart is only updated on Mondays. It shows the current and last two Bull Mkts..Previous Bull mkts have had 3 legs up and now this one has had 2 legs up and starting the third leg.The third leg will be the last one up then dn.We wait until this happens, soon or later we will have more up. Wait and see. Chart by Stocking.
This is completely speculative,
I think we have just completed a 2 legged pullback and we are gonna at least test the 1400 level on the S&P before heading down. Remember the last time this happened was also a 3 day pullback, dips were bought excessively. Just look at aapl, if that "index" isn't dropping, expect this to be a pullback that is buyable. If some day in the distant future, aapl actually drops like a rock, we have a real trend change.
Bulls: 11 extreme ticks and bears: 25 extreme ticks. 47% pos ticks. $SPX Net Advancing is -353
NYSE has heavy volume in down issues today; this is often a bearish sign

SWalsh: I stopped doing calls/puts many, many years ago - the issuer is always king: with calls/puts we have to play the market and the issuers game. Too tricky for me. I prefer futures in heavily traded indices/commodities. Never had the same problem (CME, Eurex)

wow...what a mess of an ETP.
Now I know why they called it Volatility index

FWIW, I had posted a T-Theory chart that gave us two weeks ago as a top from 2003. Missing by 2 weeks is not a big deal as on a monthly it would say a top in March.
Be careful with T-Theory. In my experience T-Theory has a pretty spotty record in predicting the future (I have been following him since 2002). IMHO it is like EW; rarely right but never wrong!

Kena, Your chart above has a great example of a pattern I learned from a really great trader named "ernmor" many years ago regarding triangles.
The black smaller triangle apex is really important. It shows two things: 1. The low point in TIME (Not what the low price print will be but TIME) and 2. The price point of APEX of the triangle is revisted on the rebound.
