Hi Cobra, can you kindly look at CAT's daily chart? support lost at 105, next one at 97? what's the likelihood of a rebound from here? thanks

i cannot believe somebody placed stop at 1399.5
this is a total distraction to market.it is hard to tell whether go long here or not.

Possible bottoming pattern on DJIA, EURUSD and AUDJPY. A little higher high after a retest of the low.

That's where the 200 MA on 1 hour S&P June futures was and yes, many people do put stops there.

Cobra, so this is no longer a buyable dip but a sellable bounce? Market doesn't feel quite weak.

I'll have to see at that time. but generally, I'll maintain the big picture view. Check my Monday report: http://www.cobrasmarketview.com/2012/03 ... -readings/, see the big picture chart. I reiterate that call.

First of all, welcome aboard!

my read on the chart is bearish because it's a confirmed 1-2-3 trend change. the target is shown on the chart. I don't believe the target, but you should get the rough direction.

I was asking about the morning dip being bought call, I guess it's no longer morning dip.... Sorry to be such a noob.

i see large stop orders. in general you shd not place stop too close to round numbers, especially if u r trading big fund.
in today's tape, 1402-04 area is good for swing stop. lots of reasons to place stop there. this stop will probably take es to 1400 area then correct around. at 1399.5 the stop actually bring es down another 8 points and ruin the chart.

i long small here. my reason: europe closed at friday close. we just tested friday close as well. i want to jbtfd. :D
