I use Metatrader for TA. The CCI indicator is shown in the bottom panel of my post earlier. I haven't been able to find exactly how MT does it, but this is a very close match in Freestockchart platform (and that is what I described to you). You plot 168 period CCI and than apply 9EMA to it. If you like please PM me your setting in Stockchart so that I may examine these.
ok will do THANKS Harapa

Thanx, VTX(21) on a weekly SPX chart looks quite good (long entry, trailing stop/win) at a first glance.
Thanks su...btw $VIX and $VXO being indices = no volume...So I use $NYDNV:$NYUPV ratio to find down volume
NP!........So there Isn't any way to look at VIX options volume (chart plot)? There has to be
U can track volume on XIV (bull spy) and VXX, UVXY (bear spy)
But those ETFs move with VIX volatility FUTURES not options
Check the cboe.com site for options volumes
Also bernie schaeffer may have some stuff on volume OR a kind options trader could jump in here and offer a much better answer
what does NP mean?
