Small gap up within yesterday's range, so the gap might be filled.

The Global ES looks good. It's a consolidation pattern after a series of push up therefore implies a continuation (up). The blue line line above has been tested 4 times, so if bulls can attack the line the 5th time, I don't think the line would hold.

This system works well for many technical indicators: apply the breakout of the channel as pivot, not the low. Works quite well for Andrews, zig-zags, channels...

maybe some smart guys placed shorts on the ES on the tops you indicated and run for it to close it this morning. In this case follow through buying would be missing in the 2nd hour of trading....

SPX hourly chart shows a megaphone. Uempel's 1520 watch point is about where the top line is.

Light long.

Composite trend signal is up.
Summation index signal is an unconfirmed down and looking like a dud.
Things got interesting yesterday when the Dow went below prior lows and a neckline, but the close was solid.
Yesterday's closing SKEW was up and above 4 week average suggesting more up with increasing risk ahead.

Probably not going to do anything today but will assess at the close.

Thats my plan. The only problem I see, its freaking friday, you all know what I mean.. pumping market up into close. But hopefully not today
