Seems nobody cares that the daily new cases of covid-19 is approaching all time high? It means all the past months of locking down were wasted.

More tests, less deaths and over 54% have recovered globally, outpacing deaths at 10.50 to 1 ratio.

Only media and politicians that are trying to continues the fearmongering narrative while people just want to get back to normal. Well MOST people, there are still small pockets of nutjobs that want everyone to be wearing a mask forever, huddling in basements.

Let's look at it in local terms Cobra. here is Ontario data:

33,853 total cases
29,107 recovered 85.98%
2,619 died 7.734%
2,127 active cases out of 14,446,515 people = 0.01472% holding back the province
0.01472% of sold-out Maple Leafs game max capacity 20,270 is 3 positive tests of which 0.23 would die

Tell me now, you're going to stop going to see the Leafs lose?

Made some senses but your're referring to a good data (Ontario controlled well enough and now is about to reopen everything). Take a look at Canada, you'll see the differences. US has no control over the virus now. True, if you're young you're unlikely to die but, I don't know you, for me, I would not go shopping, to see film, to dinner in a restaurant and to travel around. I think at least 50% of the people would have the same thought as I, which should put enough damage to the economy.

My son's best friend's mom just died of Covid 19. It is much more real when it gets personal.
I will be wearing a mask when near others because it does save lives, and especially because it will help protect your own family and friends.
We wear masks all the time in work and we have temperature tests before entering. A VERY small price to pay.
In 4 weeks we will be flying to San Francisco for a week, we have never been before, life goes on with much masks, sanitizer and lots of soap and mouthwash every night.
My comments were dictated to me by homie the clown

I'm an hour west of you, tri-cities has 87 active cases out of 620,000, 13 in hospital so theoretically 74 running around (likely self-isolating though). That 0.01194% of the population. Even if I spend the day at Walmart and Superstore, coming across 800-900 people (a gross exaggeration), that's 1/10th of an infected case.

Yet the economy is circling the toilet drain, all held hostage by fear and whatever else agenda there is.
Even in the States, 0.7552% has had positive tests, 42% already recovered. Currently 0.387% are active cases. Total deaths at 0.03732%. The numbers are ABSURDLY LOW yet economic damage is INSANE.

Look at it another way - this is supposedly a RESPIRATORY DISEASE, yet even back in March and April, you could LINE UP to buy cigarettes and pot, but hey do NOT even think of going to the gym to keep healthy!!! How DARE YOU!!.

Smokers have 10% cancer rate, goes up to 16.5%-24% if more than 5 are lit up daily. Anyone banning it? Anyone caring about all the healthcare costs? The pollution? The deaths?

I stopped wearing a mask a month ago. Done with it. The data tells me that I'm good.

No rebound in the next couple of bars then it's the 2nd chance to confirm it's a downtrend day. Key time.

ES 5. Two moves down since the opening. Is the market ready to crash? Not yet, it seems to me.

Dow 30. A sea of red. BA, XOM and DOW Holdings bleeding the most. PG, WMT and INTC bleeding the least. BA and DOW continue to flip flip between leaders and laggards.

The 2nd confirmation of the downtrend day not done yet, need a couple of more bars. Still the same: If no rebound here then it's a downtrend day.

Now clearly it's a downtrend day. Missed the 1st and 2nd chances, don't worry, there'll be a sell bounce later - the very first touch of EMA20.
