Last week there was a discussion on this board about Interactive Brokers. For those who have an account and those considering opening an account with them the following article is worth reading.

For all traders and investors, the following article on SIPC insurance is worth reading. It provides an insight into how much protection (or lack thereof) it provides.

Just to be clear, I am not a lawyer and am not verifying nor denying the accuracy of Denninger's claim.

hard nut to crack right here for bears. we have 200MA, lower trend line, S2, and decent volume all between 123.63-83 on the hourly SPY chart.

Yep, looking to buy any time here now. Big gap down $HXC, looking like it wants to find a bottom. $FTSE/$DAX ending at lows, but had one buyable push up. Good luck all!

However it’s just touching ema support on long term chart, and is still well above my long term “purple crayon trendline for dummies” (for long term hold).

Anyone have any idea why the VIX is so weak relative to this drop?

Its OpEX so that could be a contributing factor esp. a quad witching opex.

RSP leading declines indicating even selling across the board. however, bears need a decisive break under 45.61 to break the double bottom pattern. RSP hit a low of 45.61 on Thursday...and we're back at that Thursday low.
