Could this spark a rally?

I think this is an accurate line up to Demark's 1929 analog. Not sure what to think but people are talking about it.

Broke the trend line but then recovered and bounced.

All that matters for the short term is whatever dribbles out of Ben's mouth. Can't predict it, can't derive the direction from his words until the real move happens, but that is the next short term pivot for better or worse.

I have been playing around with this. Sort of like an NYMO for the gold miner market. I'm not claiming it's tuned well or anything but it suggests gold miners may pull back soon.

VXX and Vix have been slowly rising most of the day. There is a nice gap around 42 for VXX about a buck to the positive side from earlier in the week. Might see some VOL today.

The blue line starts from the 08 vix top. Vix bottomed right around 12 today and bounced off the blue line. We had our needed rally to let off the steam due to the lack of buying volume yesterday afternoon.

Remember that VXX p-bar up to about 42.25 from last week? Almost there.

Something screwy is going on. I think we drop hard from here. Can't post charts now but Vix looks like it is a support and that VXX P-bar is weird and I don't recall seeing those too often. I look and XIV and VXX daily.

Anyone else see the P-Bar on VXX up to 42.25?

Gold miners GDX broke the double bottom and is now on track to test the Oct 2008 low, and the dome target of $15. If XIV hold's the open of 33.38 today we'll start to get the holiday and weekend drop tomorrow and it should get the momentum rolling for a shoot up to 38 or so by the end of the year.

I had drawn the green and blue Andrew's Forks long before yesterday. When XIV bounced of the middle of the blue I thought we might be in for a really nice bounce. If we come back and and close below though... look out. If this can-kick has any legs I fully expect XIV to get to 30 in two weeks or les...
